RAID Data Recovery - Tel: 0800 072 3282
RAID data recovery requirements have become more widespread as companies need more space to store graphics, magazines, brochures, publications, video and music. As this market sector is more prominent with MAC users, our MAC RAID recovery services are suited precisely for MAC computer users.
We are able to recover data from any RAID configuration and get you back up and running as quickly as possible
Data recovery from RAID arrays
- JBOD - Just a Bunch Of Drives - Usually configured as a single volume
- RAID 0 - Striping
- RAID 1 - Mirroring
- RAID 5 - Striping with rotating parity
- RAID 6 - Striping with dual rotating parity
- RAID 01/10 - Striping and mirroring
- RAID 51 - RAID 5 with mirroring
- Lacie Big Disks - Volume sets or RAID 0 configurations
- Buffalo Terra Stations - All RAID levels and JBOD
There is a general misunderstanding about Lacie big disks, that is that some of them use RAID0 and some of them use JBOD combined as a single volume. Before recovery can be attempted, it is vital to determine what type of system the Big Disk is using. Our engineers are able to determine this very quickly, and we have recovered data where other companies have attempted recovery using the wrong configuration and end up with corrupt files.
Network Attached Storage Systems (NAS)NAS boxes do not normally use HFS type operating systems for it's clients, instead typically they use UNIX. Linux, FAT32 or NTFS, for the main storage area with a networked 'front end' where the user configuration is done. The NAS box is only accessible over a network which makes recovery almost impossible if the file system has become corrupt. We are able to remove the drives and rebuild them in such a manner as they can be accessed directly by a computer.
